How Master Gardeners can help HOA's

One takeaway from the Cypresshead butterfly garden fiasco appears to be the absence of any qualified individual(s) to assess butterfly gardens and other types of gardens. Many communities are home to master gardeners. A significant number may be retired and may volunteer to assist homeowners and HOA's alike. The presence of such a neutral, knowledgeable, and helpful person could, in the long run, save a lot of time and expense involving conflicts between homeowners and HOA's. These Master Gardeners would also serve as a welcomed addition to Architectural Review Boards (ARB) where rudimentary knowledge of gardening in sorely lacking.
