Stop the destruction of a children's butterfly garden NOW

Updated: Apr 1, 2021

Cypress Head drew criticism from hundreds of residents across Boca Raton and Parkland concerning this matter until at least one Cypress Head Board member seems to have promoted the banning and/ or muting of the homeowner from NextDoor. Her posts and other social media posts (on NextDoor) that support the children's butterfly garden are also conveniently deleted and/ or muted. Please call and email your support for a homeowner's children's butterfly garden in Cypress Head that now faces destruction in Cypress Head, a premier community in Parkland, Florida.

Email and call now to voice your support for a homeowner to protect the 15 different butterflies, including several rare and endangered butterflies, that call this garden home.

This garden is certified through the county and National Wildlife Federation.

Please also call for the IMMEDIATE resignation of the Cypress Head president, B.C.,

and all of the Board and ARB members. No butterfly garden in any HOA community should face destruction. No homeowner should face thousands of dollars in fines (from multiple violation notices) to protect these butterflies and this garden, especially after numerous attempts were made to remedy the issue to no satisfaction for six long months. Furthermore, there appears to be complete subjectivity and an obvious disregard for butterfly habitat on the part of the leadership.

The destruction of this butterfly habitat cannot be allowed to happen in Cypress Head as it sets a negative precedent for other HOA communities to follow. Thank you.
